My Stuff From Video Games Live

One of the presents I got for Christmas was two tickets to Video Games Live at Abravanel Hall on Dec. 30. I got to take my friend since jr. high to it on a date. It was one of the best moments of my life.

Not only did I get a CD of the music they played, but I also got it signed by Laura Intravia (Flute Link on Youtube), Tommy Tallarico, Jack Wall and his wife, and three other people who helped make it happen.

It was awesome! They had a costume contest at the start; the winner begin a jauwa from Star Wars. In honor of it beginning the last performance during the 25th anniversary of The Legendary of Zelda, they played a new arrangement of Zelda to a collection of Zelda fan art.

Before the show, there was a Guitar Hero tournament in the lobby; so during act II they had the winner come and play Guitar Hero on stage with Tommy Tallarico and the orchestral. It was a hard song on expert, and the guy was fanominal!

Then for an encore, we sang Still Alive from Portal, and Happy Birthday to Jack Wall for his birthday that night.

Kyra and I both agree that that had to have been the best date we've ever been on. Thank you Mom and Dad!
